Drawing by Description
Materials needed: blank paper, assortment of objects (can be items from your classroom),
pencils, colored pencils/markers if desired.
Have partners sit back-to-back. Partner A describes to Partner B an object (apple, pencil, etc.)
without saying the name of the object. Partner A must describe, in detail, to Partner B. Partner B
draws out the mystery object according to the description provided by Partner A. At the end of
the duration for the activity, partners face each other to compare the object with the drawing.
